there has been a problem that I have and I wanted to know honest answers about my theory if it’s a fact or not…
small piping diameter (stock) + Apex’i N1 style universal muffler = loud
bigger piping (2.25") + Apex’i N1 style universal muffler = becomes quieter
or does it all depend on the muffler itself? how about the header?
it depends on if you have a resonator on there or not.
Get a resonator put on when you get the exhaust redone with 2 1/4-1/2 . My friend just got his done with mandrel bends and a resonator for about 120
i can’t help you with the piping q cause i got a muff and 2.25 all at once but after i put my header on i notice it got raspier earlier in the r’s and a little louder
let’s say w/ a resonator at the middle pipe? Right now my set up is 2 1/4" axle back w/ apex’i N1 style muffler, If I change the middle pipe w/ a bigger diameter would it calm down the growl of the muffler of would it just make it more louder?
