hi everyone, i noticed today that the breather hose on my cylinder head to the air intake has cracked. where can i get a replacement? should i just go to an autoparts store or should i go to the dealer to buy the specific part? what does that hose even do??? thanks for the info!

You can see if a junkyard has it, I don’t think you can get that part just anywhere. Probably just at honda and it will likely be more $$ than its worth. You can just buy a small filter and put it over it, and cap it off where it goes on the intake tube. Or cut a non cracked portion off with a dremel wheel and use fuel line to conect it back up to the valve cover.
What does it do, It takes gases and pressure from your cylinder head and runs them through your intake again to get burned up with your engines normal combustion.
or you could just go to Home Depot and buy about a foot of 1/2" rubber hose. Bring your cracked hose in with you to find the right length and diameter.
