I’ll still give it a shot though. I’m totally disappointed with the Orlando Forums meets out here (always a bad crowd). But if we’re talking Hondas only, and you’re sure (or as sure as you can get) about weeding out the losers, I think it will be okay.

Just to let you know a couple of us are meeting up at Tower shops around 7 a.m
well we are trying as hard as possible to make this a real “enthusiast” meet. we pretty much know already who to look out for as far as screen names and such. being that Jeff (Outkasted24) is a respected moderator on Tampa Racing , he is on the up and up with who is who, and who causes problems. the only issue at the moment is we really dont have a great list of people who have posted if they are bringing anyhting for the cookout.
a handful of us have made our posts but not many. Jeff posted he other day that " if you dont bring, you don’t eat…"
so far we have have:
chips
soda
diet soda
lighter fluid
lighter
charcoal
hot dogs
hotdog bread
bbq utensils
ice
coolers.
we need more of everything as well as cheese, hamburgers (bubba burgers for Neil), napkins.
we also have a basketball, volleyball & net, a dodge ball and im bringing my 76" Dragon kite…anyone wanna add to the list?
I’m going to Publix tomorrow. I’ll walk around and see what else I can bring.

I guess I should get/print some directions. I bought some cookies, chips, and soda from Wally-World. If I get lucky, maybe I’ll buy some foil paper and some burgers.:drool:

We have a group meeting up at Exit 10 off of I4 @ 11am to roll out together. There are people meeting up there from Brandon/South Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota/St. Pete/Lakeland/Port Charlotte & Orlando. From there they are all convoying to the park …here is a link for the info if you would like to join the convoy

that is the road that over the interstate overpasses. I am not sure if it is the name of the exit. It is 1 exit before you get to I75. There is a truck stop there.
The name of the truck stop would be helpful. Also, is there a park entrance fee?
I am jus going by the link cuz some of the locals started that thread on their own. It says in the thread the it is called “TA TRUCK STOP”
and there is NO entry fee for the park. It is just a large county park.

What is the exit the maps are telling u to exit I75 at? exit 279 or 285?? There are a few entrances to the park and construction off of 279. Exit 285 is closer to the park and more direct with nice paved roads…

ok. i double checked the roads and 279 would be okay if you head EAST on SR54 to Boyette Rd…Left on Boyette…
Those roads are new. i was concerned because some of the roads in that area are being built and dont cater to lowered cars.
Is anyone meeting up with the I4 crew on exit 10?? If so lmk so he can look out for you guys.
