ATTN: CHECK OUT THE MEET THREAD FOR A NEW MEET SCHEDULED IN MARCH!!!
ALL FLA G2IC MEMBERS WELCOME!!!
LETS GOT OUT IN FULL FORCE THIS TIME. BEEN AGES SINCE WE HAD A STATE-WIDE MEET.!
:getsome::manual:
Figure that out!
^Erick did you decide on a wheel color yet?
Ralfy…my DA is suffering from a rod knock right now…we will be fixing her very soon but i have not decided on how yet!
I’m Chad and I’m 30. I live in OrLanDo!
Her is my DD and track whore!
I decided on panting the wheels black.
nice…did you do it yet?
Haven’t done it yet,I’ll probably be taking the tires off this weekend and striping the paint next week.
Nice! Are any of you guys planning on attending the meet next month? I plan on takin a trip down south once my motor is rebuilt…It’s in no condtion for a a 30min drive let alone 5hrs! Hopefully it will be done by mid-march…
Need new rod bearings, and I’ll do rings also while i’m in there…stock for now til I have the money for the SIR-II swap later this year
Chad: Way to go with the CDM rear fog light!
I’m not sure on the status of my car…I just sold the b16a that I was going to force feed via a GReddy 18G kit but I have a 2000 GS-R motor in unknown condition that is going to take the it’s place. I calculated $550.00 for for a new water and oil pump, timing belt, top and bottom end gasket set, front and rear main seals and a few miscellaneous items from Inline 4.
I’m growing some balls to man up and drop the 5 bills on a Full Race traction bar setup, which would place me right in the almost broke category when it comes to fixing my car.
I’ll see how it goes after I pay my taxes.
I have 2 valve covers that I’m planning to do something with. I promised my eldest daughter that we’ll paint one as a weekend project. She came up with a Guyana/Trinidad flag, she’s half trini, go figure! She even went through the “valve cover” thread-lol.
Anyways…
who else is in Florida?
tito
Im 26 from ft myers, florida
Im LOKING TO TRADE FOR DB1 due to i have a 1 year old and its not working for us lmk what u got jdmferio@hotmail.com
here is a pic b4 it got clear. its on tokico blues & tein springs, aem cold air intake and i have some white Riken’s wheels on it.
I am Ralfy… AKA REDLINE.
I am 33…
I live in Nipples… OOPS, I mean, Naples (way south of Tampa).
I still own a nice 92 GS 4 Door Sedan. AKA a DB1.
Here is a pic of her a while back but she still looks the same. Has been in the garage since then with a wrist pin knock in her B20z belly. I did buy a nice OE1 Style JDP lip for her that I installed today with a friend. Pics will be shown tomorrow. Not to happy with results. But it will do for now.
And Ronie, I don’t think you met Steve. The RAINED out meet at my house was the only time that Steve came through. I don’t think you came to that meet and then the LOTUS meet, Steve did not show but Ronie came out in the Acura SUV with Hayden. Fun times. Soon more fun times will come.
Oh, and naa, your DB2 did not make any meets at my house… YET!
wanna trade??
I highly doubt he will trade, as he also has a family.
Steve what meet are you referring too?
Not mention, your not really gaining any more room with a DB1. I have both chassis and when we need room we use the DA9. It is only 2 inches longer on the chassis with maybe the exception of not having to move the seat to get in…You lose trunk space and rear leg room!!
Erick, Ryan just posted a thread (above in Red letters) of a meet that Neil himself is hosting in a park/bbq setting for sometime in March. This is supposed to be big, hopefully like the one I threw last year w/o all the EF’s!
There is a new thread for it posted a few days ago…
+ 1 on Ralfy not trading. He had like almost $15k into that car!! It’s like one of his children!

i get what ur saying, but the extra door is nice when ur putting a baby car seat in and out.
I have a 6yr old & have had my DA9 LS since she was 3. No problems w/ car seats or anything. & Steve’s right. You’ll need the DA’s trunk for groceries, clothes changes, & strollers. 4 door trunk is kinda small.
Of course I am 5’6" & the wife is 5’ 3’ so we don’t have too much trouble w/ finding room in a teg. We joke that we’re the Americans that made Honda bring the DA over for!
The best bet is to keep the carseat on the pass side to make loading/unloading easier until they get old enough to get in themselves. This plan also keeps your driver seat settings the same, & if you have a harness on your driver side, then this plan is the only way to go!
One more thing: If you can do the family thing in a coupe, then you will have justified never needing a big car or a minivan. You’ll never hear the "Married Man in a Minivan " song!
:getsome::manual:
Figure that out!
Just to in form my Florida peeps, I’m one step closer to becoming a Cop. I’ll be taking my polygraph exam this month. Hope fully I’ll have a new daily driver by this time next year with a pretty light bar on the roof.
^sweet! congrats man! Miami Dade PD?
you gunna cut me some slack if u pull me over? lol jk
Yup MDPD.
:werd: Maybe I’ll catch you walking around the office when they are filming “The First 48” on A&E! That show is my shit!
Haha…G/L broskie!
