Steve, I’ll put the word out around my way.
What’s cheap to you?
Common Florida peeps, let’s make some calls for a fellow flaridian.

found an A1 with ARP head studs and Block Guard fully assembled with 50k miles with only I.M for $400. I don’t need the diz but I might have to take it as is.

If not there is another with 68k miles bare longblock for $400 also…both in Tampa. Hopefully have one of these picked up by teusday if they are what they say they are…both look really clean!

Still if anyone knows of anything…HOLLAR!

things are good bro, moved to OTown in May so lookin for work and all. Other than that and this car…things are good!

Find the parts and I’ll more than happy to do the swap for you.

anything below $500 for a complete LS longblock…don’t need accessories. Car is obd0

It seems that I didnt need a motor after all! It turns out that raw fuel was being dumped into cylinders 2 & 4 which hydro locked the motor. I removed the spark plugs and siphoned out almost a cup of fuel, and burned the exess off and she started right up!

Steve

Now to figure out why it did that in the 1st place?? Any ideas guys??

Well that’s good news Steve.
The truth is, it’s pretty hard to find a unmolested LS motor nowadays.

One of your injectors may have gotten stuck open and slowly let the fuel in the rain pour into the cylinder. That’s the only thing I can think of.

thats kinda what I was thinking, only thing is it was fine before and been fine after.

Ima pull them out this weekend and give them a good cleaning…hopefully it never happens again

Hey Steve, glad to hear that you got your DB1 running again. I want to attend your meet next month. I have my OEM seats that I can take up and sell to you if you want.

lmk how much ur willing to let the go for. I want to make sure that I have the xtra cash to spare…I have not found work since moving to Orlando so things are a bit tight.
