For all you B18C powered G2's

Okay, I’m still having problems with my Power steering. The ps pump pulley does not line up with the crank pulley. The ps pump pulley is too far to the right. Offset is approx. 1/2 inch. I have the P72 PS bracket(attaches ps pump to head) and a P72 ps pump.

I’m thinkin’ the crank pulley is wrong. Do I need the P72 crank pulley? If this were the problem, it looks like there’s not much room before the crank pulley hits the chasis of the machine.

Someone Heeeellllppp!!!1

i used my ls power steering pump ,and bracket , everything didnt line up perfect until i used a longer bolt and some washers and only 2 bolts line up to the head from the bracket (no big deal)if it was your crank pulley your alternator pulley would not line up right either

Eh?

Are you using the DA9 crank pulley and the P72 PS pump w/ a DA9 pulley on it? The DA9 crank pulley uses a single rib belt to run the PS pump while the P72 pump pulley uses a 4-rib pulley!?

Anyhoo, I’m using my old LS crank pulley (DA9) my LS PS pump with the LS lower bracket and B16A upper bracket. What you’ll need to do is thread the lower bolt and tensioner to hold the pump in place then put the belt on and then put the upper bolt in place and go from there.
