look man, you’re going to have to look at what you want from your motor. slapping on parts isn’t going to get you no where. with higher compression, you’re going to need to fuel tune that sucker. you can’t just slap on a piston n call it a day. you need to know what other parts can help benefit the piston. so i sugest you read more n then make a decision. have a nice day.
toda and spoon are mostly name.
toda’s 11.9:1 c/r pistons for a b16a are 82mm which means you have to bore your motor over 1mm.
spoons stroker kit is for a civic type r motor. the block is identical to the us integra type r block but the civic is de-stroked to 1.6L. the spoon kit only fits in the b16b motor, and only uses balanced oem integra type r parts.
if you want to stroke your b16a call crower for a complete kit, or tech 43 for custom pistons. both kits used raised wristpins to give you good r/s ratio. the tech 43 kit lets you use stock or aftermarket gsr rods and crank for a displacement of 1.78L, or ls crank and rods for 1.7L displacement.
if you just want to raise compression i recommend a nice set of aftermarket pistons. if you want a bit more power still you can get oversized ones.
