okay, for a very long time my clutch pedal was stiff rite from the top… so the other day i went to get it checked and the guy says i should have almost an inch of freeplay with my clutch pedal… so i was like o really?? so i went home and adjusted the cable in the engine… now i can push my clutch pedal down almost an inch easily,… sounded juss about rite to me… but the thing is, now my clutch engages pretty early. at first it engages at midway of the clutch pedal releasing… now it engages when i let the clutch pedal out juss about a quarter to a third… is it supposed to engage this early? or and i screwed
i wish mine would engaged that early… mine engages a lil after mid way… and my clutch is brand friggen new!!!
That is exactly how you want your clutch to work. You need that freeplay at the top because that means that the release bearing is completely off of the pressure plate and the clutch is fully engaged.
