From the Seat of a G2

just watched it again… that car has some major pull to it. I wanna know the motor details too

 He just left that crx sitting. Being the previous owner of a 91 crx si I dont think my teg could beat a well tuned crx on a road course. theyre great handlers but tricky on their limits. He is obviously a good driver in a well tuned track car

Wow! That video just goes to show that a front engine, front wheel drive G2 can own a BMW 328i, gen 1 and 2 Mazda Rx7’s, Miata’s, new Mini Coopers, etc…
I hate it when people say Rear wheel drive will ALWAYS be superior. Front wheel drive rocks! I’d like to know his suspension set-up.

who is he and how can i get a marriage license?

:inlove:

i know my husband’s gonna be able to drive that well. good lord thats hot.

daaaaayyyyyuuuuuuuummmmmm stop the world im watching this vid like 39405849056 times.

 Awesome…simply amazing!!! Great heel toe shiftin!

Guys I spoke with the driver. Really friendly guy. He told me his specs and didn’t mind if I posted them.

I did’nt know the ITR FD fits on an LS gearset ?

We had to research and find out ourselves, If you use a GSR/ ITR differential you can use ITR final drive without any other modifications.

Holy crap and I almost sold the LS mission

muchos gracias

BTW did you put your engine together or did you take it somehwere ?

What kind of cams are in that beast?

ahhh dope vid brings back some memories for me of this past Friday when i went out there myself, almost running same configuration ( CW#13) except i lost it on Lost Hill/Magic Mountain and made my clean DA very dirty =/ oh well i definitely can’t wait to go out again!

:werd: Sorry I cut you off there – my auto is a bit unpredictable cuz of its tremendous power.

All those other cars got :owned:  vid man

Stock CAMS. IF its not mentioned in the Specs (Above post) then its stock.
I have a new toy that will go on the car by next race. A Underdrive Crank pulley.

Only works with the 92-93 Integra tranny casing…wish I still had mine so I can build my YS1 GSR gearing with 4.7 FD and ITR LSD…or maybe ATS stuff.

Why don’t you run some cams? It looked like you could use some more pull on those straights, and without the cams there is no point in revving so high IMHO.

Wait you make 143 to the wheels on only a shaved head? That seems screwy.

Just a shaved head? Look at the mod list.

I/H/E, plus a about a point added onto the CR from the shaved head, plus everything is balanced and he’s running an aftermarket ECU. Nothing crazy about 143 whp.

His car seems fine the way it’s setup up…

“I have a new toy that will go on the car by next race. A Underdrive Crank pulley.”

I would highly recommend you have the bottom end rebalanced for it. alot of drag racers fooZ! burn up there bearings awfully quickly when they changed it out
