With a short wheelbase like the CRX, the car is very twitchy. My brother experienced it first hand with his b16a TODA powered CRX at the track.
Wow…that’s awesome I wish we had races like this near Vancouver, Canada. All we have here are lapping days, which aren’t competitive at all. It’s just there for learning and getting to know the car. I could be going all out, but then the person I’m passing may not be…so it’s hard to tell how well I’m doing.
Mind you, i’d probably be put into some crazy class where I don’t stand a chance :bored:
nice vid man …everytime i see one of your vids it makes me want to go out and run a session lol …that eg hatch that past you towards the end of the vid was pretty loud i was able to hear his exhaust over yours and he was a good amount ahead of you …
The brake Setup is all stock with the exception of the pads and cooling ducts to the front rotors. I use HAWK blue pads front and rear. Tranny is stock LS gearing with an ITR 4.78 final Drive and a Quaiffe for an ITR.
nice …sounds like a good setup …did you have any to do any mods to the tranny to make the itr quaiffe to fit the Ls tranny …and how did you make the cooling ducts …post some pics and what you used to make them and how you made them …
Video was taken at Buttonwillow raceway park. Please dont race on the streets after watching my video, Dont want to feel bad when you crash into something. Keep it on the track where it is more fun and where racing belongs. :manual:
Edik,
Where do you get your tires and do you buy them shaved? I’m looking to pick up a set to use for track tires, but I’m not sure if I should get them shaved or not. Let me know.
Thanks,

I buy mines from Buttonwillow Track. If you are just gonna do lapping I can sell you may used tires that have few track days on them for very cheap. 225-50-14. New each one is 135 bucks plus TAX shaved. Let me know.
