Fuel Filter install -- Banjo bolt align

Tried a search, couldnt find anything…

Installed new fuel filter today, just wondering if the hole through the banjo bolt needs to be aligned a certain way? Does it matter? I realize the Helms didnt say anything about it, but I reasoned that if the holes werent aligned with the holes from the fuel hose, it may not flow as good?

TIA

i don’t remember having to do any specific alignment when i did mine. I just put in the new filter and tightened everything back down.

after you torque the bolts down make sure you check for leaks. I tightened my bolts to spec but then it leaked. I ended up having to torque it down much tighter than specified in order to stop the leaking.

There’s no specific way it needs to point. Just use the new washers if supplied.
