My ECU is showing a code 43 wich is a fuel system code. has anyone had this poblem? car runs just fine.
mostly O2 sensor… try resetting the ECU. Had this code once and a new O2 sensor cured the problem… your gas mileage sucks right?

is code 43 and 12 somewhat related? i had code 12 a while ago b/c i had intake hoses switched. I fixed that and had no problems for a couple weeks, no wi hear beeping and i get code 12 again, but the check engine light doesnt come on. Is there a problem with my ecu?
no everything is fine my ecu is just shooting the code no other problems except it is alittle slower than norman when my check engine light comes on but its hardly even noticable

I have the same problem with my 91 GS. If i keep my engine running same RPMs for a bit the check engine light will come on. There is no loss in power, but the light pisses me off, and yea i burn more fuel since i got that problem.

Damn, My car is showing a code 43 and now its showing a code 9. The 43 was my o2 sensor, I had to replace it. But the 9 stumps me. What the hell does No 1 Cylinder position mean???My car runs strong so there should be no cylinder problems…Man my gas mileage is shitty…though
Code 9 has something to to with TDC (Top Dead Center) If you dont have a Helms or Haynes manual- get one and then bring your motor to TDC. If that doesn’t work take it to the dealer.
