Fuse Problem! plz help :D

hehe, ok heres the deal, my fuse for my tailight/dash lights keeps blowing no matter what fuse i put in it, it takes a 15 stock, i tryed em all, 10-30 and they all blow, the only power changes i have made to my car is new JDM 1-peice headlights (for DA9), my tailights worked even after i installed them, so i dont know if that is a part of the problem…but the fuse keeps blowing, im just wondering if anyone knows whats going on…

sounds like a frayed wire is grounding somewhere. Check the connections at the taillights to see if the wires are ok or not

did it happen right awa ywhen u put the 1-pieces in? If so, you messed up the install somehow, or like mentioned above, you frayed/sliced a wire, and now it’s shorting out.
Electrical problems like this SUCK. You have to re-trace your steps and find out what wire is grounding. Try unplugging the headlights one-at-a-time to see if it’s on the left or right side IN the headlight…

But, my recommendation, is to get a MULTIMETER… instead of wasting fuses. put the leads from the multimeter in the proper space where the fuse normally goes, set it to 12V DC, and watch… if there’s current draw above 0.4 volts, there’s a short. (ie: if, when the car is off, the multimeter reads around 12 volts or more, there’s a dead short.

Good luck.
