He never got the car buffed to begin with. They just shot it with some paint and rolled it back out. I wouldn’t be surprised if its a single stage acrylic.

lol i tried to get a single stage…but the guy said it’s only like a couple hundred diff, so i let him base/clear it.
i have to find a fender i know that much so i can get that and this fender i’m looking to pick up, and my spoiler sprayed and car buffed out.
question: will using claybar and compound help remove the swirls? i was trying to remember if it did when i did my max. i usually claybar and compound every year before summer hits

Clay bar not so much. A wetsand and buff can. Depending on the grade of compound used you can do damage or great things. I’d suggest going with the lightest compound on a low speed buffer until you’ve gotten control of both then you can try using heavier compounds and higher speeds.
