yea its well done to me, it has a bunch of rare parts as well, the headlights, window visors, trunk lip, and side markers are OEM, i also have the JDM third brake light, and the personal box as well, then i was just building a car that can out-handle most of the cars around here and i think i did well, next is motor, i am currently building a b20 vtec for it
man it’s like were to car tards cut from the same cloth. I’m hoping to have my b20v done in the next month or so I just gotta get the conversion kit and send my head out. I tune obd1 ecu’s so I have that part covered. Swapping to a sk2 IM and 70mm TB. I port matched the IM to the TB also.
I don’t know that my car is the best handling around here, it’s a competitive scene up here, but part of what I like about the sedan is the torsional rigidity. I also added sk2 pro S v1’s, a neuspeed front upper strut bar, and an ASR subframe to use a JDM ITR rear sway bar, leaving the stock front to help the RT-615’s out. So I might not be the best handling, but it’s pretty freaking good. I have a co-worker at my shop has a stock M3 and he has trouble keeping up on the on ramps. So I can’t complain.
im just waiting on funds, i need a crank and some high compression pistions, also using a skunk2 intake manifold with the PRO 70mm TB port matched. as for my suspension it is skunk2 pro s2 coilovers, skunk2 front and rear camber kits, skunk2 lower control arms, skunk2 phi fifty sub frame brace, with the k tuned traction bars and Suspension techniques front and rear sway bars. it puts my in a higher PAX modifier class, which hurts me bc i can turn like 2 seconds faster RAW times then some dudes but when it comes to PAX they pass me…like this weekend, i lost to a 2011 M3 by 1 thousandth of a second, but when it came down to the PAX times he was .5 a second faster…plus im running nitto nt01 tires, awesome tires, the 100 treadware sucks ass but they are great tires…
question…when you installed that spoiler…how’d you secure mount it? i’m looking at the underside of the trunk, if i’m guessing right, i wont be able to put the nuts on to secure it without cutting parts of the trunk out
no the one in the middle actually barely clears a hole thats already cut, its am OEM spoiler. the way i did it was put some white out on the studs and set it on where i thought it would go when tightened down, then drilled the holes and it was almost spot on, just had to oval one of the end ones a bit. but if you like lemme know i will go take some pics
Forgot I have sk2 LCA’s and front upper camber kit also. I DD my teg so the NT-01’s as much as I like them, wouldn’t cut it for me on this car. Also why I’m staying stock internals for my b20v, other then I plan on changing the original valve springs in the head for something better and not 15 years or older.
Mines not OEM, it’s a rep of the OEM made by JDP, and it’s on with 3 trunk width strips of 3M double sided tape. Been There a year now and holding strong, even after a Canadian winter and having been rear ended 3 days after I put the car on the road.

Current look for now, should have my all motor/direct ported nitrous build swapped in from the DA in the next couple of weeks. :burnout:
that DB does things to me
I like that blue, I don’t see too many DA’s period let alone DB1’s and not sure I’ve ever personally seen one this colour.
