fuuuuck. that is nice.
That shit looks really nice.
damn…i want a digital dash in my mini:bang: …thats nice man
…why would you want that? I love s2ks and all…but I hate that digital speedometer. I need convential gauges - tach on left, speedometer on right :uhoh:
oh god my pants! :jerkoff:
why would you want that? I love s2ks and all…but I hate that digital speedometer. I need convential gauges - tach on left, speedometer on right
its all opinions lil girl, looks like 99.999999999999999999999% want the digital:rofl:  i think im going to find a way to make it work
Integra_hot: It looks like it will at least fit in our dash, the biggest problem (since they already make an adapter for it to work with older cars) is making it look right. I am thinking just a plate of black plastic, a moto tool, and some time would make it turn into something nice.
Personally I like analog gauges, but I do think this is a cool idea, and would love to see pics of anyone that gets into one of our dashes.
^^yea thats true, im wanting to update the dash in my 88 to a 89-95 p/u dash, so i may mod it when i get that dash:excite:
ts all opinions lil girl, looks like 99.999999999999999999999% want the digital
Bring it down to 98%… i think it’s ugly as fuck…
Reminds me of an upgraded prelude digital dash… you know… the WORST gauge setup honda ever did?
If i wanted to see red numbers like that, i’d set my alarm clock…
lol doesnt that model prelude remind you of the knight rider dash lmao
Ya I was just thinking that. So does the coloring of the picture. Kinda washed out.
heh… i though so too… but i didn’t wanna spend too much time google-imaging that crappy dash…
lmao…“right away michael” lmao
…why would you want that? I love s2ks and all…but I hate that digital speedometer. I need convential gauges - tach on left, speedometer on right
this sentence woulda been very objectional without the first line “why would you want that”
You may not like it, Xtreme may not like it, but obviously that is YOUR opinion…personally I think that shit is sick as fuck, and would definitly consider it (so long as I am using that 9k redline :burnout: )
so why would I want it, you ask? because I like it…noone is saying you have to also
bang bang:hi5:
True… it’s all just opinions man… My opinion? Don’t waste that much money putting that speedo into an old car… just BUY the s2000 if you like the speedo so much… heh… I’ll be buying one in the next year… (though i still don’t like the speedo)
and also…
because I like it…noone is saying you have to also
No one is telling you not to like it…
I seriously hate the jumpy s2k gauge cluster, the rpms kinda jump and same with the speed, it’s not a steady climb in number like a needle is the rpms and speed jump from number to number instead of 1,2,3,4,5 it’s like 1…5…8… same with the rpm gauge
I like being able to see out of the corner of my eye and know where the needle is without having to take my out of the road
Kinda fun…all these guys WANT a s2k gauge in there da but yet all the s2k guys i’ve seen want stant gauges or spoon gauges cause their a needle style. Pretty funny.
I agree waist of money…doesn’t actually improve anything. If it actually did something to improve over the stock gauge then thats great…but it doesn’t.
looks pretty damn clean, might have to do this conversion
Yuck! i thought everyone got over the digital dashes in the late 80’s i mean my moms 89 buick had a digital dash :wtf:
I couldn’t agree more. IMO, get a GS-R 9k tack and call it a day. The cable speedo doesn’t bother me much at all. I also like how it flows with the rest of the dash. Digital dash is a cheaper route for Honda. It has no motors and the orange/amber backlight of the ITR was one of the thinks that detered me from purchasing an ITR when I had the chance.
Electronics in cars have become more and more intricate over the years. Manufacturers have combined modules in vehicles to reduce weight and cut costs. They ever communicate several systems on 1 or 2 wires rather than each system having its own network. This and the conjunction SMD technology has made module failure rate increase not to mention that the individual components can’t be repaired either. My predictions about the dash panel is that it won’t last quite as long as the DA panel and what mades it worse is that you can’t even service it yourself.
