GReddy SP - From deep growl to tin can ricer...

I took my baby out today for a spin and noticed that my GReddy SP sounds like a ricer exhaust! I’m very dissapointed that it sounds like that because it used to have that growl (SP owners know what I’m talking about). When I got home, I looked under my car to see what might be up and too my surprise, the entire exhaust system is starting to RUST!! NOOOOOOO!!! I know stainless steel can rust, but there was alot! :mad:.

It looks like I might have to get a new system altogether now. Is there anything I can do (ie: coating the canister and piping with HPC - http://www.hpcoatings.com/motorsports.htm) to save the system? Or am I out of luck?

I really don’t want to get a new system because it’s fairly pricey and plus I love the way the SP looks and sounds.

Please help!

Does Greddy have a warranty? I know DC Sports does.

I believe Greddy has a 10 year, 50,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first). Obviously this warranty may have some “previsions” or “exclusions”. Call them and see what they say. The fact that Canada salts the roads may void your warranty. Salt promotes rust like a mofo. Best of luck.
