sometimes i can hear something grinding when i put the clutch in what can it be?
- When you say “clutch in”, do you mean your foot pressed on the clutch, or your foot off the clutch?
- Are you sure it only happens when you play around with the clutch. It doesn’t happen when you put the stick in gear?

I havea very light grinding and its my throwout bearing, only when clutch is disengaged though.

sorry i meant with the clutch pedal pressed down. sometimes it grinds when i press it down sometimes it doesn’t. also you can hear it grinding a little when you have it in gear and you are slowing down. is it my throwout bearing? thanks guys!

I had the same problem, it turned out to be my synchros, and withouit taking care of it, the main bearing went out; when i would let my foot off the gas pedal it would jump out of gear. So you might want to take care of it soon or youll be like me, and have to replace the whole tranny!
