quick question. i have a friend who says a gsr at 6psi boost daily driver(stock)can beat a LS at 10 psi daily driver. i dont agree what do u guys say.
well a gsr at 6psi of boost would put the tires at 41 psi.
an ls with 10 psi of boost would put the tires at 45 psi.
the gsr would have a better 0-60’ time, but the ls would have less rolling resistance. gsr’s are faster from the factory, so i think this time the gsr wins.

well we can’t really say much since you give us the most vague description of each car and their setup. you leave out so many details-year of cars, set up, driver skill…etc. not only that, its nearly impossible to answer these type of questions.
if he wants his question answered, take both cars to the track and find out.
same turbo set up.(turbonetics)hondata, full race manifold.just keep the cars stock but for and exhaust. :whip:
they tie.
both ran 9.276 seconds at 150mph
I could have sworn I saw 9.275@150mph?
this thread is ridiculous… there is no real way to tell unless u both turbo ur cars and see. so go out and do that then come bak and tell us the victor. i think i saw 9.274 @ 151mph :nana:
what im really tryin to get to is which engine better for boost?!(for every day purposes)
so why didn’t you ask that in the first place  :bang: making a statement about “this engine” vs/or can beat “that engine” is totally different from asking which is better to turbo.
considering this new question has absolutely nothing to do with the original question stated.
your better off making a new thread asking that question. seeing that no one will answer your question with the current thread title and topic.
thread closed due to the fact that the current question can never be answered, and the topic was never the real question in the first place. start a new thread with the CORRECT topic or question that you want to ask. which i’m pretty sure has been answered if searched.
