I was wondering what kinda of modification you would have to do when you put in 94 up gsr rods and pistons in to my 92 ls? they will fit right? Well if the ls rods are stronger then I should use them right? how will that effect cr?
GSR rods are too short, you’d have to have the pistons put onto LS rods. BTW, misuse of the caps key is really annoying.
yeah, the gsr rods are worthless to you. But the pistons could be used, however i don’t think the gains are all that big. In order to get the pistons to fit on your stock rods i’m pretty sure you’ll have to have the rods shaved just a tad. But if you use pr3, p30 or p72 pistons you won’t need to have the rods shaved.

sorry about the caps key thing, I did that so that I could get some attention. So using gsr pistons doesn’t give out too much gains right? So I should save my money on buying the pistons, getting the ls rods machined and use it on something else.
91IntegGS is right about the benifits, with P72 (GSR) pistons, they just aren’t there. If you want a decent bump in compression, go for PR3 (B16) or P73 (ITR) pistons. The P73’s will require mods while the PR3’s will not.
