Hey Guys i told you i would post my times and i ran a 14.9 at 99mph on my stock h22. I had a large ammount of wheel spin so this week friday i am going to use slicks and turn on the bottle and hopefully run a mid to low 14.
I remember seeing your car at lowels. I was getting mine tuned at the dyno down the street, when they just started to put it in…looks good.
I should think with juice and some nice 22’s you should hit 13’s no problem.
that 99 trap speed means that low 14s are definitly possible

thats weird… my boy ran a 14.1 with a jdm h22a in a 90 accord 4door, with crappy tires on 2001 accord rims. he has a vafc, cai, custom exhaust with no cat. and its gutted. the thing has never been dyno tuned( well not since the run) maybe its the weight… we did take alot of crap out.

Those times don’t suck, mainly because it takes practice. Given current skill level, 14.9 is a great time. If after 20 trips to the track he was still not improving I would say differently. There is a lot of technique in getting good numbers.
Also, a civic is not to be compared to a G2. There way lighter and there’s no point. Besides, people never say at what altitude, how hot it was, how much experience the driver has, etc.
Just from personal experience, I would try to get my times better before going on the bottle, but it doesn’t matter too much. Just means you need more practice.

Congratulations! Great run! Do you live in California? If so, can you pass smog on a G2 Integra with an H22? I’d like to swap that motor in my 91LS if it’ll pass smog. I love that motor! My old neighbor had that in his Civic so I know how much they can kick ass. His time was similar to yours.

a) its hilarious how you went through old threads just to find someone not even you but your friend is better than, and not even the same car for chrissakes.
b)you have no information whatsoever as to the ability of his driving. And as much as it sounds as though you are being derrogatory towards him and his car, he in no way sounds as if he is bragging: he is simply saying “people asked me what my times would be and here they are”
i also believe you can do way better than that once you get a feel for the car.
i had a 4th gen prelude vtec ('96) all i did was lower it k&n drop in filter and cut off muffler. my best time in that was a 14.8 with the nitto 450’s (still spun like crap)
so, obviously you can do better. i still give you good props though.
this is too funny and yes i have done some drastic changes to my car which include Turbo AEM EMS and many other upgrades but the one thing that i didnt change is the fact that the motor is completly stock right now, It has put down 262 hp and 271 ft lbs tourqe and i have yet to have a good night to run the car at the track so far at 7 psi ( which is what i dynoed at) it has unbelievable wheelspin pretty much all the way down and have only managed to run a 13.9 @ 109 mph and that was shutting it down early. So hopefully next year i will be able to pull out my 12s or even 11s… We’ll see…

i have embarked on the journey of installing the h22 in my g2… 1 week into it… and ive removed mine… sorta hard cos my neighbours keep bitchin bout the noise… just curious… on the times that were ran with the h22… no nos… non turbo… is it possible to run a flat 14 with street tyres… cos this guy here reckons he did… just wanting a lil feedback… and curious to wat tommy ran… *note it is illegal to run nos on the street in australia… so can u please post non spray times
