A quick lesson on word usage. Not legit means STOLEN in the import world. Ask anyone…any real racer (sorry couldn’t resist). You made a mistake by stating it the way you did. Don’t call us a**holes for your blunder. Theives are not welcome here and are burned at the stake if the opportunity arises.

First off, watch your attitude! You, calling people A$$holes because of YOUR mistake is asking for it. Second, get yourself a Dictionary! In fact, Websters Online has a free dictionary look-up and guess what:
“LEGIT” is a slang/short form for “LEGITIMATE” and what did Webster’s Online say about this:
“accordant with law or with established LEGAL forms and requirements; CONFORMING to recognized principles or accepted rules and standards…”
If you read further, “LEGITIMATE” actually has a synonym which is “LAWFUL” And what does Webster’s Online say about the word “LAWFUL”?
“…being in harmony with the law; constituted, AUTHORIZED, or established by law…”
So, you, actually stating that you’re not getting this stuff legit means you’re not actually abiding by the law. Hence, you and your post got flamed. However, if you have stated that you can get these engines for cheap because of “mad hook-ups” or what not, then most likely you would’ve gotten:
- Props from us fellow G2IC members
and
- You would’ve gotten a much better advice as to how to modify your car.
See what a difference that makes?
