having problems with ac/heater

my ac/heater blower isnt working.
I have a 92 LS power everything (except locks)

i took it out of my teg and i tried benching it not sure if i did it right but i wired my power (from the blower motor++) and - on the blower motors chasis to the ground on my battery and nothing happened.

other things to take note of:
i replaced the resistor a few months back and its still in tact.
no power at all 1-4.

is the motor simply dead or is there something wrong with the wiring?

just want to have my defrosters and heater running again.
any and all help is appreciated.

To bench test the blower motor supply a power and ground to the two terminals of the blower motor.

check and make sure there is power at the blower motor plug. 94

Yeah I think something’s wrong with the plug only get power from 1 part of the blower motors double positive. I had it working than I out it back in th car and after I turn the car off it topped working again. At least I know the blower works.

Blower motor double positive???

The blower motor should have only two leads going to it, a 12V+, [hot in run and start] and the ground from the blower resistor. 94

Right here mine says its double positive?

I used my Multi meter and only e of the pluses has power. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? My resistor is new and working though

So, like fcm said… TWO leads. One is positive, one is negative.

Well I have power at one lead so that makes sense the other is negative but i swear on my blower it says + + my resistors work but it works when I took it out but when I started the car two more times it stopped working.

Do you still have power on the one lead, [blue/white] at the plug, if so, with the plug plugged into the blower motor and the ign. switch on, use a jumper lead, [scrap piece of wire] to supply a ground directly to the blue/black lead, just stuff the bare end of your jumper lead into the back of the blower plug with the blue/black lead and touch the other end of the jumper to any ground point. 94

i was having the same problems last winter when i bought my 92 da. i just finally said f+ck it went to the scrap yard found a blower motor and hard wired it with a toggle…it might only turn on high but at least i have heat and can see outta the windows haha.

thats because its a fan! if you run power through it one way, its spins one way, run power through the opposite way, it spins in reverse. right by those + signs should be arrows. that is the direction the fan spins when you send a positive signal through that terminal.

I have a similar issue with mine. The aircon light is on but no fan!?
