chingro, 90BlackGS is asking “how much for a replacement head.” He’s not looking for the most power, he’s looking for something to replace his worn valve guides. Its great for you to tell him about LS/VTEC, but there is no need for you to go off and say “you guys are making me sad.” Just because we’re not telling him to go LS/VTEC doesn’t make our opinions wrong.

i was just saying that if your going to spend that amount of money…you can get a B18A/B long-block for $800 (head and block).
but since he was more interested in the head swap, why not get the benifit of the VTEC.

nah man, sorry…I came across a blown motor, and my boss said I can HAVE the top end.
so I got my tbody done, intake manifold port matched, 3 angle vavle job, milled the head for 10.8:1 compression, all for about $600 CANADIAN.
installation was done at home with the help of a very nice friend, whom I won’t mention becuase I don’t want him to be bothered with everyone asking him about head swaps and stuff.
