Ok, guys I was wondering if the 90-91 header will line up with mu 92 car. I know that it will bolt up but will the header line up with the cat and the exhaust.
Also do you guys have any experiance with chikara torque step headers? how do they compare with DC sports? What about obx headers? anyone have those?
last thing. will the 90-91 after market header make the same power as the 92-93 header? or less.
the 90-91 header will bolt up perfectly, except it will be a couple inches too long. If you have an aftermarket exhaust (w/ the extension piece) then you won’t have a problem – just remove the extension and it should fit fine.
and i’m not sure about the o2 sensors. 90-91 and 92-93 o2 sensors are in different locations. I’m not sure if it matters at all (you can just extend wires if needed), but the sensors might work different if they are placed at different points along the exhaust manifold --but like i said, i really don’t know.
aftermarket 90-91 and 92-93 headers are gonna make the same power. They will be the exact same design except one will be longer and the o2 bungs are in different locations.
You could have (should’ve) consolidated the threads about this very topic, instead of having several spread out over several forums.
