just got my nitrous kit and had a few questions. one where did you feed your nitrous line through the firewall? isn’t there an open hole near ecu that many use for acc.? i’ll be runnin a 55-65 shot, i plan on: 1) colder sparkplugs 2) retard timing atleast 1 degree 3) 93 octane fuel anything else? i am planing this all out before i go and bolt the kit on and play f & f:) just JOKING well any input would be great
I ran the nitrous line through where the speedo cable goes throught the fire wall. The solenoids are inside the car hidden behind the radio. Everything on your list looks good. Just make sure to check your sparkplugs to fine tune the jets. I would have ran it to the grommet above the ecu, but only learned about it after my nitrous install. I probably will try this on during spring break.
ok thanks man. do u have a part number on your colder plugs? i gess i’ll be looking for a grommet right above the ecu when installing. and u say u have all solenoid inside te car great idea where exactlydid u mount them?
Glad to be of help.
Sorry, don’t have the parts number on the plugs. The local auto store should be able to get the ones you want. I only know they are 2 steps colder. I actually didn’t mount them. They are stuck on these metal bars/poles behind the radio.
when looking through my nos manual for my dry kit it had a diagram of a “fuel pressure safety switch” connected by a wire to the second solenoid. is this fuel press. safety switch already on my integra or should it have came with the kit? i got my kit used to thats why i’m asking. thanks
BCPR7ES-11 are two steps colder than factory. One step colder is a BCPR6Es-11 or something like that… . but I know there is definitely a six in there. BTW those are NGK part numbers.
