how do you remove the lower pocket thinggy just below and to the left of the steering wheel … I need to remove it to get to the screw that holds the entire lower panel in place.

just pull it down towards you and the top will snap out, then puell to the left or right and one of the sides will pop out then the other side comes out with it
hmm well with mine, the top wouldnt just pop out…there were two latches i had to push up to get the top to release…
i tried wiggling, pulling n everything to get the bottom hinges off…nothing worked…i’m afraid to break it. any other tips?
try sticking a flat head screw driver in the side and pry it???
Ok well i’ll give it another go tommorow, hope i dont break nothin.
open pocket using flat screw driver wedge between dash+pocket+pry lightly till pin disengages from dash+ twist pocket to remove simple+easy
