So let me clear a few things up since everyone seems to be an expert.

First off, the spoilers that Patrick has are REISSUES not replicas (sorry Vern, I believe it was lost in the Canadian-Engrish translation). They are made in Japan from the same mold that made the original Hiro spoilers like the one he has on his car now.

Secondly, I don’t believe Vern ever said anything other than the fact that the 2dr and 4dr hatch/trunks were different, and that these particular spoilers that are available are only for the 2dr and will not fit on the 4dr without some ricer rigging (G2IC translation: “modification necessary”). He never claimed they were never made for the 4dr, only that these were not it.
