ok well here’s the deal, some guy has an hks turbo that he wants to sell me for $350 and that is a fat hook up, it’s brand new btw. but how much would it cost to get piping and an intercooler and all that stuff?
dave, You can check out Spearco’s site for IC prices and you can locate mandrel bent piping and have it welded together.If I knew what I know now about kits, configurations, etc. I would have made a custom kit. What are the details of the HKS turbo?
well, you’ll need a manifold bout $400, pipping $300-$600, front mount bout $600 new for a spearco, plus all your hoses, wastegate $200-300, blow off valve $200 thats round about prices for brand new stuff, you may beable to find it for less, not to scare you off, but ive got about 6 grand wrapped up into my turbo motor and there are guys on this board that have more than that and some guys a lot less, but the route you go is up to you

well i’m not sure on the specs of the turbine but i know that the cheapest one is 1600 retail and he’s selling it to me for 3-350. so i got a head start there. what i was thinking about doing was building up the bottom end of the engine and then hooking up the turbo, unless i can get by with my stock internals
