Hondata

Whats Up With The Hondata, I Am Almost Finished With My Setup But Want To Get Some Management. I Cant Afford The Aem(1200-1600) Which Is What I Really Want. So I Am Looking To See What Management Prog I Can Get That I Can Plug In And Take To Be Dyno, And Tuned. I Was Lookin At Hondata Does Anyone Have This Setup. Or Does Anyone Have Any Recomendations Fo Which Prog To Go With
Thanx

I have hondata myself, and it works great. But im sure everyone else is going to tell you to get uberdata or turboedit. These programs are basically the same thing, and are free

Hondata is what I run. My tuner likes it and it costs me less at the dyno cause my car is on there half the time.

You have a few choices. Eastcheaster is right near Westchester right?

Crome / Uberdata - These are the Freeware choices. You would only have to pay for street or dyno tuning. Not that actual cost for the software like Hondata.

Neptune - Much more feature laden, newer, and you have a well experienced tuner in Jeff Evans in Easton, PA. Less than 2 hours away.

Hondata - Jeff Evans tunes this as well and there are other Hondata tuners in the NY metro area as well. You are going to end up paying more for the Hondata though if you go that route where you can really get the same results depending on the goals and your setup in most cases.

If you need Uberdata / Crome tuning help, I can help you out there. We are close and I have a wideband and experience with these programs.

Hondata/Neptune - Go with Jeff Evans

Hondata = $500 + you gotta pay someone to tune it, doesn’t come with the tuning software. Doesn’t do ODB0 so if you are 90-91 you gotta convert to ODB1.

TurboEdit = Free + you can tune it. ODB0 only. (90-91 tegs)

Uberdata = Free + you can tune it. ODB1 only. (92-93 tegs)

They all require a chipped ECU. You can download the software for any of them and get a feel for em.

I went Turboedit and will never go back.
