6500 RPM
on a daily basis I don’t know, but I revved mine up to 8200 max often enough…mine still running after about a year…do so at your own risk
As far as damage is concern I don’t know if I have done any since I cant see inside, but it still sound good and feel strong.

On a stock bottom? that must be a strong engine!
must HAVE been a strong engine. lol
be looking for rod caps in your oil pan after a few more times. lol
they didn’t tell us 6500 rpms just so we would be conservative… they told us 6500 rpms because the rest is just screwin the engine up. Not much left in the power department on a stock b18a after 6500 rpms. :-/ A little… but not enough to be revving to 8200. :-/
I only revved my first ls/vtec to 8K maybe 10-12 times on the stock rod bolts before they stretched and trashed my motor. I wouldn’t go over 6500.
Just my .02

due to cost restraints, if i shotpeened my rods and get some arp rod bolts, would it be okay to rev to 8k once in awhile?
by once in awhile i mean literally once in awhile, i only rev high if i’m racing someone, and even if i am racing, i don’t really push my car. and what is the stock rev limiter on a b16a? is it 7200, and how reliable would the bottom end be with 7200 as redline?"
Re: how high can i rev on a stock bottom end??
