how the hell do i bypass the fast idle thermo valve (FITV) for the type r manifold… im running the hose where it inputs to where the hose that it outputs go… shouldn’t this just bypass, instead i overheat easily and get a CEL…i need to check the code and i’ll repost later but how do i bypass it…WITHOUT OVERHEATING … I have plenty of radiator fluid. thanks for yer help.

Yout take it off and block where it used to be with a custom plate or gasket. An instructions sheet comes with the hondata heat shield gasket.
