yea i need help, my cruise control button is next to my defroster button, but in teg tips it say they r nex to each other, can some one help me step by step?
My RS was the same. My fog switch and defroster were on opposite sides of the steering wheel. All I did was extend the cut wire from the fog switch. Still use the same two wires as mentioned in the teg tips and everything will be fine.
u do this from inside ur car? how do u hide the wires?
you should remove the plastic piece that holds in all of the switches. It comes off pretty easy. Your manual should inform you of where all the screws are. Just take all the screws out, then pull off the panel. Remove the switches and then all the wiring will be visible. Wire it up, tuck the wires back in and re install everything. Its pretty straight forward.
you may even be able to move some of the switches around to where they would be more convenient.

if he doesn’t have a manual, then now is a time to get one. Typically i don’t like to give step by step directions straight out of the manual because then people go buy their own—and trust me, they will be better off in the future that way.
