How to Wire this

I have 4 fosgate HE2’s in a custom fiberglass box and right now i got a Directed(250) 2 channel digital amp running them. I just bought the Alpine V12 MRV-T757 so i can wire the Subs Mono. Does anyone know how to do this? Can anyone post a diagram?
Any suggestions would be great

Also i have a Alpine Cva-1003 with only 1 output(sub) and im having problems trying to put 3 RCAs(front, back, subs)… Still cant get the sound quality i had before with old radio.

are you planning on running both amps or just one?

The car will have 2 amps. A four channel amp for surround, and the alpine v12 for bass

those are nice … where did u get them? or did u just do them yurself??? (the subwoofer enclosers)

I traded a friend of mines the custom box for a set of 17’s. I dont know much about the box except for teh fact it was used for bass competitions…

If your amplifier can handle a 2 ohm bridged load, then series the coils on each sub, then run all 4 subs parallel.

If it can’t, then series the coils on each sub, then pair up two subs and parallel them. Now hook them up to one channel, and do the same for the other subs for the other channel. This will give your amp a 4 ohms stereo load.

My suggestion is to buy a larger amplifier. They are really cheap.

wiring

depending on what the impedence that the amp can handle… you’re gonna have to wire the speakers in either series or parallel.

just go onto www.google.com and do a search for “parallel vs. series wiring”

you’ll get a lot of answers that way.

have fun!

Good suggestion.

Here is another good place to go. There is a lot of great info about car audio there.

umm…

Thanx for the replys guys but forget that whole idea now… My car got broken into last night and they stole everything and left me screwed…NO FULL COVERAGE:rant: But thanx anyways…

Duro-

That sucks my friend. I feel your pain. The even nicked that enclosure?? Wasn’t it bolted down with a zillion odd-ball screws or anything?? Just out of curiousity, have you been bumping hard close to home, parking with that enclosure showing, or demo’ing the system to any ‘new’ friends? Was there an alarm on your teg??

If you ‘see’ that enclosure around, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out who ripped you off. It won’t fit anywhere other than a G2. Are there many near you?

Too bad bro… that really sucks…

Well

I never really bump my music around when im driving, but not everyone that drove my car was so kind to my system… Whoeva broke into my car knew what i had becuz they went straight for everything i had and knew exactly how i had it… I never really like to show my stuff off to anyone becuz of the fact theres alot of cars that get stolen around here and yes my car had an alarm but my battery was dead so it never sounded… As for the box hopefully ill find it, you know how things like that are one of a kind and whoeva has it better not go around showing it off…
