My car won’t start i was wondering could it be my valves being bent? How would i know if my valves are bent?I just changed my timing belt, water pump, tensoner, and distributor…
My car skipped timing the other day so i did the timing change…The belt didnt break tho…The tensoner was bad…
What else could cause the can not to start? Thanks Alot!
Ps…If my valves are bent would my timing belt spin?My car just wont turn over…If its not my timing what else could it be and how much should it cost…
You saying that you’re engine won’t turn over at all when you crank the ignition? If this is what you meant, try turning it over by hand. If there’s a restriction, then don’t crank it over anymore (somthings bad).
My mothers civic had a t-belt that skipped a tooth. The vavles never hit the pistons, but it was hard to start most of the time and it backfired a bit.
your valves should be okay if the timing belt just skipped a tooth. did you do all the work you listed yourself or did someone else do it? did the problem just started after all those parts were replaced? check to make sure you’re getting spark and fuel.
