I check the ABS code?

What’s sup guys, I check the ABS code and it say’s that the sensor on the right wheel are not “seeing” the teeth on the rings that tell it the wheels are turning? So what do I really need to do, buy a sensor and how much is that or tighten the sensor.

Beofre going out an buying a sensor, I would check a few things sure (even though some of them sound trivial)

Check that:

  1. the sensor is there.
  2. the teeth are there.
  3. The teeth are not covered in CV Joint Grease or road debris.
  4. the sensor is plugged in and the cables are not broken/frayed.

Once you have chaked all of the above, then start thinking about buying parts.

I’m having the same problem . 4/4 code book says right rear speed sensor . I can’t figure it out . is it ok to not have the abs working ? What would happen if i don’t fix it other than the abs not working?

Other than the obvious (No steering during hard braking)

Just that ANNOYING BRIGHT YELLOW LIGHT in the cluster… :gun:
