Guys, my i’m having a problem with my tranny. i’m having a hard time shifting into gear! the thing is that the clutch is okay, but when i try to put into any gear…it goes in, BUT it takes alot of force. I don’t get any grinding of the gears when this happens. it feels like trying to push into a rubber bushing. sorry for lame explanation. I have a b&m short shifter…and i don’t have any aftermarket bushings onn it. it just started doing it two days ago.i check tranny level and it was low, but it didn’t flow out of the tranny…color was black tho. i have almost 196000 miles on my car. help me please!!!
how old is your clutch? you may have busted a tooth or spring on the pressure plate, and now the clutch doesn’t relase completely. and that would explain why the problem started suddenly, not over time.

thanks…if that happened would i have to get a new clutch or tranny? i’m getting another tranny from a friend for a $100. no grinds. maybe i can get his clutch. thanks for the advice
