It’s an aftermarket sunroof. You can tell by the mirrors and door handles that it’s an RS, and those never came with sunroofs. What a shame to cut a hole in a non-sunroof car

My rs has a moon roof that tilts just like that
How would i go about tilting an LS moon roof? i’ve looked threw threads but could’nt find an answer. Or where do i buy the aftermarket sunroof to replace my ls moon roof? it looks soo clean guys i just know lol
Well, surprise, it’s not stock.
It’s not a simple mod, it would require TONS of design and fab work to make the stock unit do that - definitely not worth the trouble. If you must have it, then you’d want to get an aftermarket piece. I have no idea where you’d get something like that though. Best place to start would probably be a really high end audio shop that does custom cars, stuff like ya see on “pimp my ride” somewhere that does lambo doors and garbage like that…
If one could fully install an EK sunroof, they could have the tilt effect… I do like the look of it, but not enough to chop up the roof of a DA. I dig the stock setup on the DA anywho. shrug

Agreed. It’s blasphemy!
And why is that?
Non-sunroof cars are quite rare, and have significantly better weight distribution than cars w/ sunroofs. The sunroof assembly weighs about 35lbs and is at the worst possible place on the car in regard to center of gravity.
Sunroofs are nice for daily driving, I admit that, but as soon as I retired my car from DD status, removing the sunroof became one of the most important things I wanted to do.
