i read a red del sol with a b16a3 with stock! internals, i repeat… stock internals… and he revs to 8K i believe and kill vettes… he has a claimed 240 whp and TQ i forget… but alot, haha, isnt that risking the bottom end and rods? plus its high compression 10:2:1 it stated, im one when i turbo ill get low comp pistons, rods, and all bottom end work… how can that guy do that safely?
anything can be done if the tuning is dead on…with a B16 his torque isn’t that spectacular
Re: in MAG. stock b16 with turbo 240 whp, how that much with stock internals?

integracon is running i believe 8-10psi on his b16 and im sure its older (more mileage) then that a3. risking the bottom end id say so. PS this del sol claims to beat LS6’s with what full strip, slicks, and some race gas while the ls6 runs 91octane, street tires
sorry just think comparing the two isnt even remotely logical.
Yeah, it’s totally believable. Guys on H-T.com are making that and more on stock blocks, B16’s and B18C’s- stock internals. Tuning has to be good to make it last, though. I’ve been quite fortunate with my setup-stock internals with seat of the pants tuning-for almost 2 years. (WARNING:Kids don’t try this at home)
I’am in the process of building a seperate block in the mean time-I know my luck is eventually going to run out…
