So I just got a reply from him in an email. I asked him where my iPhone was, and he said he’d send me a refund. Too bad at the bottom of the email it said, “Sent from my iPhone”…

Yes, that is what he’s saying. So if that’s true, then why does he need the phone now if he’s on a new contract with a non-sim company?

That’s how I got him. He finally replied and we had a conversation with 20 minute lag times in between each email. He said he would refund me tomorrow via money order. I demanded overnight (since I paid him extra to overnight my iPhone), so we’ll see what happens…best of luck…

you might want to talk to him again, lol. you are aware that you have comitted several federal crimes, yes? why are you “working” on it? it is very clear cut. someone asks for a refund, you give them a refund. someone asks for a part, you give them a part? where are the parts? where is the money? at this point, if you do not give me a part or a refund immediately, i will start charging you interest on my cash. the maximum i can legally charge you is 10% if you must take your time, i will begin adding and compounding.

wait a minute! i remember the long-arm statute from business law. that could mean that you (chris) will have to come to the people which he defrauded. i can’t believe i forgot about it. everyone should look into the long arm statutes present in their state.
If I don’t receive some money in my pocket by Monday, November 10th, I will take you court. Don’t think you can get away with this. You can either western union me the money or send me a certified money order with delivery confirmation. Make sure you write down who the delivery confirmation is for just in case it’s too difficult for you to figure out. It might take you few months to figure it out.

Refund or deliver. act! don’t try! just act! why the hell would you even need a lawyer if you were gonna come through with the deals? what happened to the things you were gonna sell? yes, you and him or her may want to take an even closer look at the longarm provision. you would be subject to our (california’s) definition of the longarm statute.

Chris, you must be an idiot to think that you wouldn’t have to pay travel expenses if you are charged for these crimes! It doesn’t matter what the situation is. If you commit fraud or theft YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR ALL CHARGES THAT WE INCUR. If I took you to court for scamming me $20, and I had to fly to attend that court case, YOU WOULD PAY FOR THAT AIR FARE.
It’s okay though. It’s seems you have picked the best attorney if indeed one at all. That just makes things easier on all of us. What’s sad is we won’t even need an attorney for this case as clear cut as it is. There is absolutely NO WAY you could ever fight this. The only thing you could do is by more time with the court in saying you had some type of illness or some shit like that. Then they are just going to give you a specific date to give us our money. When you don’t meet that date, please believe that they will just come up in your house and take you to jail.
Just refund me my money by Monday. The last thing you want is to have 7-8 different law suites against you all for the same thing. You’re 19 dude. Borrow it from your Mom, Aunt, Uncle, etc. then work out paying them back. Families love those types of problems
