im building my turbo.i just bought a external manifold,i have a turbo laying around the house but its internal wastegate.my question is what do i have to do inorder to use my external wastegate. 
take off the wastegate and arm off, and either weld the flapper shut or get a downpipe flange that doesnt have the hole for the internal wastegate so the gases cant escape, that should take care of it
