I would like to know if b17 made from 94-00 bolt on directly in my
2nd gen acura ( bolt fit ?)
the b17a came in the 92-93 gsr, not the 94+ gsr’s.
please do a search or read through posts before asking basic questions like this.
and even better, go to the Teg Tips, then download the “Vtec Swap Guide” Read it, then read it again, then read it again (repeat until guide is commited to memory). This guide will give you 99% of the answers you need to do a vtec swap into your G2.
well i know searches can sometimes be a little bit of a pain so ill try to help ya. the b17 was the engine for the 92-93 gsr. since you have a g2 you most likely have a b18a. 94+ use the b18b (ls) or the b18c (gsr) either enigine will bolt right up to your tranny. infact i believe any b series engine will work. you just may have to consider ecu and maybe a few other things, such as intake manifod, header. ect. hope that helps ya:bow:

thats really not of any help to him. all the info you gave is super vague. really all he needs to do is download the vtec swap guide. it will give specific details about all the stuff you mentioned… specifics about how it applies to the year and model of his car as well as the year and model of engine he decides to put in.
just read the swap guide, its got more than enough info.
