not behind it, is it? i thought it was mounted on the firewall like next to the fuse box

that is definately the ICU… Hands down… I know for a fact, as I just replaced mine and my intermittent wipers work now.

I put up a link to pix in the teg tips section of the forum.

wonderful

i wish we could post stuff in the general forum… these things get replied to faster…

9ty1blackgs, first off…THANK YOU!!! I followed your link to imagestation and it’s amazing. Now i have 2 questions, your last step is “remove and replace”, well how much is it to replace one of these bad boys? Also, whats inside it, are they relays or fuses that can be replaced? Thanks again!

well. if you wanna buy one brand new…

its part 17

to me, the price just kinda says :vomit:

so yeah, I just went to a junk yard and pulled 2 out and they sold em to me for $2.50… hehe. They had no idea what they were selling.

As far as being able to fix it. I don’t know, my dad is an electrical engineer so I was going to have him look at it for me, but I haven’t been around the house when he has so I finally just decided to try slapping one of them in there to see if it worked.

I added another pic to the image station album to show you the inside of the unit. If you just replace the whole thing there is no reason to open it up.

here’s the link again:
