Hey, does anyone have the problem I am having? I have no luck with my 1 pieces I tell you, im ready to take them off! 
Now my fog lights are burning the lens itself… the inside is starting to go hazed and darker, and when i touched the lens it burnt my hand. I only had them on for about 15 minutes to go to the bank and back… wtf is going on? Is that normal? As far as bulbs in there… I went to Lordco and bought the cheapest and weakest ones, they are GE crap ones… wasn’t going to spend lots and wasn’t wanting lots of power for that exact reason! Is this normal or is there something wrong with my 1 pieces and should I just throw them out at this point? Please let me know what you all think is going on here… and LL Cool… let me know what is up with this, it doesn’t seem right.
Whats the wattage on the H3 bulbs? Thats not normal at all bro.

yeah if the lense is melting, the wattage is too high. This happend to me as well. Don’t use anything higher than I think 35w but I can’t remember it’s been a while, it might be 55w. I know Piaa sells 35 & 55. I have 35’s in there now, no problems. HTH

55w sounds about right, but i’ll have to double check. They are the cheapest and lowest watt i could find!
That’s odd. I’ve never had a case like that. Are you sure you’re using 35W bulbs? It should say on the bulb it self. But if you say you bought the GE cheap ones then I’m pretty sure they’re 35.
I don’t even have my glare guards anymore and it still doesn’t melt the housing.
Is it the glare guard that is getting darker or the lens it self. Is the lens melting so much that it’s changing its shape?
I don’t know what else to tell you. I guess it’s just bad luck :shrug:
the standard H3 bulbs are 55 watts minimum… the H3C are the ones u shoudl of gotten and i don’t think u can normally get them at the auto stores.

and this is the very rare H3C bulb used in some other headlights such as the jdm mazda mx-6 projector headlights (for low beam).
I C, so Lordco or canadian tire should have the 35w h3 bulb?

Yes but you said you bought some GEs. It’s the black box right? Check on the top and it should say 12V 35 Watt H3

Can’t remember, have had them for a month, and the packaging is gone. They were in green packaging though, thats all I remember, but beer has affected my thinking tonight, I will check tomorrow! hahahahhaa
