usdm have 170hp because of their 10.1 compression ratio… that is due to the pistons alone correct? Or does it also ahve to do with crank and rod? If you were to get the JDM pistons, and just pop them in the USDM, would you get that 180hp and extra torque?

Actually, it’s 180ps, which is about 177.5hp. The extra compression will definitely help, but whether or not it’s worth it is up to you.
