Jdm license plate side

it’s to the left. usdm driver side.

having it in the middle is gay.
thanks for your non-helpful advice bro’s

and yeah in cali you do need to have it on the bumper, i recieved a 35 dollar ticket
for it 2 years ago.

Is this all of Cali that needs license plates in the front? When I visited San Diego last year I saw cars with Cali plates that had them in the rear only, and as I went north more had them in the front as well but still saw a bunch with only plates in the rear.

i used an ek civic license plate bracket and flipped it up sidedown. bolted it through the grille in the bumper. came out good

Just put it in the stock location like everyone else said. It isn’t JDM no matter what you do. The front plate has to be on for the whole state of Cali. Unless your a visitor with your car registered somewhere else. All Cali registered cars must have both plates mounted permanently to the vehicle. In other words putting the plate on your dash wedged between the windshield does not count.

Also getting a ticket for no front plate is a fix it ticket. All you have to do is put the plate back on and get it written off by an officer, CHP or other local department.
