if it keeps cracking it will be sold :frowning:

next on the list is to replace my front wheel hub bearings and fit my arp extended studs on the front so i can run my 20mm spacers
also thinking of selling the bride low max and picking up this red bride zeta 2

Love the intake set up! OEM box all the way.

How hard is that elbow to find?

can you post which part of the hiro wing that keeps cracking? any other people having the same problem? you car looks too good to track it. lol

Darren, what are you/your body shop using to ā€œpatch upā€ and re-enforce the cracks? I havenā€™t had any issues with my Hiro wing, and itā€™s been been almost two years now. Iā€™ve heard some are more fragile than others, like any other limited supply product made from fiberglass. Maybe since you bolted it down, the flex of your trunk/hatch affected the weakest area of the wing? Running mounting clips, Iā€™ve experienced no issues. Was the crack along the backside of the blade and/or around the edge where it turns downwards?

they body shop have repaired it and reinforced itā€¦but i think i now what the problem is?
where i made the holes in my trunk to mount the HIRO is a bit off so i have to slightly pull the spoiler to line the 4 holes up, and so im thinking that strain is causing the crack :frowning:
before i gave it back to the body shop i made the bolt holes into oval shapes as it gives me a few mm more adjustment and when i tried the HIRO afterwards i could bolt it down without having to pull it slightly
so hopefully no more cracks!
heres a pic where it cracks

Put a ā€œX millimetersā€ gasket between the spoiler mounting spot and the trunk so it can absorb flex better.

That engine bay is prettttty

1 word! Yummy!!! so clean man. I love this thingā€¦

Whats the brand of the side skirts and where did you get that little lip (spoiler) on the hatch.
