JDP 90/91 Optional Front Lip

Nice i think i finally found the front lip i want. I was gonna go mugen but not sure if i like the lines. If anyone wants to buy my mugen front ill take one.

good looking lip! bump for a great company making great products for our lonely DA/DB’s

to the op (JDP)… does it have to be cash or can it be credit? im in los angeles really close to pasadena so it would not make sense to pay for shipping. This being said i would really prefer to put it on my credit card. Let me know thanks.

All local pick ups are welcomed to avoid shipping charges.

If you want this on your card, paypal is the way to go.

Thanks man!!! I really appreciate the support.

give me a couple of weeks and i will snatch up one of these bad boys!

and +1 on the oem sides too

Big thumbs up for the guys at JDP you guys did a great job at replicating the lip, if I had 90-91 bumpers I would snap one up ASAP.

Also please keep us informed on the OEM replica side skirts.

Sounds good man…i’ll be on the look out for the entire kit.

 I will DEFENITLY be in for the D.side skirt

How much more if it’s shipped to QC, Canada?

aww man, i finally got my oem kit…and now its not going to be so rare?

hey tegboi you work at a body shop right? would know you around maybe how much it would cost to paint this? just trying to get an idea

wow man, looks AWESOME!!!

how much to ship to canada? toronto to be exact

EXACTLY! I had suggested that on the first page when the replica idea came out… I like this lip but it needs to be a lil lower… granted it’s a very nice exact fit to the bumper but like I said… would be so much better if it was a lil lower…

Don’t be so upset. Your kit should still have the Honda stamp on it to verify that it’s OEM Honda (someone please correct me if this is wrong).

used to…

but as for painting the lip, usually its best to paint the bumper & lip together. because painting just the lip normally gives a old paint to new paint invisible line, and you notice it right away that something was just recently painted.

where as the whole bumper being painted doesnt make so much of a change as long as the color is close enough, because now n days bumpers are never the exact same color as the main body of the car. it’s a fact.

if your car/bumper has some really good condition paint still, and the color matching is very very well, then they might be able to get away with just painting the lip

pricing:

different shops/different materials/different work loads vary

paint just the lip (you bring your car to them, lip off the car, they match the color, spray test out sheets and check to your bumper, once matched, paint the lip, & you pick it up in 2 or 3 days) - $100 cheapest

paint lip & bumper - (you drive it to them mounted already, they remove the bumper, and remove the lip from the bumper, paint everything, and put back together & install) - $350 - $400

Any news on seeing if the cf lip would fit this optional oem replica? From the looks of it seems like the 92-93 lip would sorta fit

Good job on the OEM “style” lip! I would buy a rear OEM “style” lip for 260 shipped easy it you made one.

I’ll take pictures with the cf lip under the OEM optional lip as soon as I make another one.

Find me the rear and sides and it’s yours.
