on the subject of jumping gages, my speedometer seems to “bounce” under normal acceleration and regular driving, its not HUGE bounces, but enough to get annoying. Any idea on what this might me? a loose bolt? screw? Thanks.
Your speedometer cable is bad if your speedo bounces just a little, before long it’ll start squeaking…replacing the cable is pretty easy, its like a 20 dollar part from the dealer, just take out the cluster and run the cable thru the firewall and down to the tranny.

I was wondering if the jumping tech thing is the same as when i am driving and my 90 teg has to rev up about 500 to 1000 RPM to shift into 3rd gear???
