Nice find. Around here there aren’t many g2s driving around, but every junkyard I go to they are straight stripped. Every now and then you can find some nice stuff if you have the time to look. I found some earls ss brake lines, but they were near impossible to get off I also got a full wiring setup for a sound system from an eclipse for $5. Good for battery relocation!
I was quite disheartened at one place that someone took off a head from a DC gsr and left it on the ground, so both block and head were trash…all that rain water.
Always remember, if you see something in good condition, or that you’ve never seen before, grab it. You never know when you’ll need to replace parts on these cars with their age, or come home with something rare like this!

Yeah that ae86 was a 1986 model hatchback 5spd. It wasn’t in bad shape. Quarter panels just needed work on driverside. I seen a complete blue one a few months ago and I tried to get it. They wouldn’t let me. Ahh. It was clean. Dang it.
i’ve been meaning to see if i can get some cars from the junkyard but haven’t been to any lately. did they say why you can’t get them? can’t you get a rebuild title for them?
Oh i ask the lady and she called in or so and said it wasn’t cleared. So I just left. I didn’t fight for it. It was a 50/50 to get the ae86. Not the one right there next to the accord. But a cleaner blue one. A week or 2 later the thing was starting to get striped. What a waste. I should make my own wrecking yard. I wouldn’t mind restoring and selling em. All ef eg ek da cb7 etc…but yeah just look into it. I havnt done any research on it.
I found a db1 today with mint tan interior…all seats where leather…no cracks…but thing is there was minor blood stains on the driver and shift console…so I didn’t even bother lol…if they was black I woulda picked em up…
found a clean black arm rest but the best thing i’ve seen for DA is the Optional kit.
my sides are incomplete. Only have 6 pieces out of 8 at the moment.

That’s a good find right there. I havnt seen a oem kit at the junk.
I’ve found a lot of DA parts at the yard, over the past couple of years I found 8 armrests, oem hood bra, tein basic coilovers, ff type 2 coilovers, db2 wing, tokico illuminas with skunk 2 coilovers, 2 sets of 92-93 bumper plugs, a couple sets of 90-91 plugs, a few oem sunroof visors and a woodgrain wheel with a quick release hub lol.
